Yesterday, the Democratic Party of the USA, in its democratic national convention, decided to reinstate in its party platform the assertion that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, a highly controversial issue. This resolution of the Democratic Party is in opposition to the official diplomatic stance of the USA. It is specially remarkable the “democratic” process by which the motion was approved.
